I am a registered dietitian and nutritionist passionate about health, nutrition, and happiness. I help people lose weight, identify food sensitivities, and improve nutrition through meal plans, counseling, and advice.
I believe that what you put into your body affects how you feel, look, and go about your daily routines. Improving your eating habits will improve your overall quality of life. Therefore, I am devoted to teaching proper nutrition and healthy habits. My goal is to help everyone live the happy, healthy life they deserve.
I attended Indiana University where I earned a B.S. in Applied Health Science with a concentration in dietetics and minor in psychology. I went on to complete my Dietetic Internship at Ball State University. I am a member of The American Dietetic Association and The American Overseas Dietetic Association. I currently live and work in Chicago, IL. When I am not working I enjoy yoga, running, being outside, traveling, cooking and spending time with my family and friends.
Your food determines in a large measure how long you shall live – how much you shall enjoy life, and how successful your life shall be. – Dr. Kirschner
Why Choose a Registered Dietitian?
Registered Dietitians are the experts in nutrition. The Registered Dietitian (RD) credential indicates a practitioner has completed an undergraduate degree in nutrition, 900 hours of supervised nutrition practice, has passed a standardized national examination and completes 75+ hours of continuing education every five years.
Registered Dietitians are the only nutrition professionals authorized to prescribe Medical Nutrition Therapy in the United States. RDs are the nutrition experts in every imaginable food environment: healthcare institutions, corporate health programs, food service operations, nutrition product promotion and university and research settings. The American Dietetic Association is the professional association for Registered Dietitians.
