Fixing Gut Problems: What Really Works (and What Doesn’t)
Fixing Gut Problems: What Really Works (and What Doesn’t)
August 17, 2025    POSTED IN  Gut HealthHealthy Eating & Mindset

The one thing I hear most often from clients after working together is:
“I wish I would have done this years ago.”

The truth is, most people are confused (or even scared) about gut healing. They imagine a life of restriction — cutting out all their favorite foods, surviving on celery juice, or taking piles of supplements forever. (If you haven’t yet, check out my article on the Do’s and Don’ts of Gut Healing for a deeper look at common misconceptions.)

But gut healing isn’t about restriction — it’s about restoration. It’s about uncovering the real root cause so you can finally feel better.

Gut healing isn't about restriction - it's about restoration. When you address the root cause, your body finally works with you, not against you.

Real Stories from My Clients

  • Maggie (30s): Struggled with stomach pain, nausea, and constipation most of her life. A new, stressful job made things worse. Some days she barely ate because she was in so much pain. After healing her gut, Maggie no longer had gut symptoms, her energy and productivity increased, and she was finally able to sit down and enjoy her meals again.

  • James (50s): Lived with acid reflux for 20 years and relied on acid blockers. Over time, his digestion worsened with diarrhea and bloating. He tried enzymes and probiotics but saw no improvement. After healing his gut, James could eat freely from his garden without symptoms and no longer woke up feeling nauseous each day. He also got off acid blockers.

  • Sarah (40s): Came to me for eczema that flared no matter what she ate. She had no typical gut symptoms like bloating or pain, but her skin told a different story. After healing her gut, Sarah’s eczema significantly improved, her diet expanded, and she felt healthier while returning to her happier weight.

Different symptoms. Same root issue: the gut.

What Gut Healing Really Looks Like

  • Identifying what’s actually going on (sometimes with advanced stool testing, but not always)

  • Addressing the root cause — not just covering symptoms

  • Rebalancing the microbiome

  • Supporting digestion and motility

  • Healing the gut lining

  • Looking at lifestyle and stress — because how you eat matters just as much as what you eat

When you heal your gut, your life expands again.
You feel lighter, more resilient, and free to enjoy food and life without constant worry.

If you’re ready to take that step toward real healing, reach out. I’d love to guide you through the process.
